These tenders are perfect for your summer menu. You want to spice up your normal grill out? You want a lighter alternative to a family favorite? You want a meal everyone will like? This is the recipe to go with.

Grilled Chicken Parm Tenders

Prep Time: 10 minutes

Cook Time: 10 minutes

Total Time: 20 minutes

Cuisine: American

Tools: Grill

Course: Main

Ingredients:

  • 5-8 Chicken Tenderloins

  • 1 teaspoon salt

  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper

  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

  • 1 cup marinara sauce

  • Fresh Mozzarella Cheese

Instructions:

1. Preheat your grill over medium-high heat and make sure the grates are freshly cleaned/scrubbed.

2. On a cutting board, lay out your chicken tenderloins. Place two pieces of plastic wrap over each piece and, one at a time, use a meat mallet to thin out the tenders slightly – about 1/4 inch thick. Remove the plastic wrap and lay the flattened chicken tenderloin on a baking sheet. Continue with the rest of the tenderloins.

3. Once they are all flattened to about 1/4 inch, combine your 1 teaspoon salt, 1/2 teaspoon pepper, and 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder. Sprinkle evenly on both sides of all the chicken breasts.

4. To grill, place the flattened chicken tenderloins on your hot grill and cook for about 2 minutes. Flip each tenderloin and brush on marinara sauce.

5. Top with a piece or two of mozzarella. Cover the grill and cook for 2-3 more minutes or until chicken is cooked through and cheese is melting.
