Grilled Chicken Parm Tenders
Prep Time: 10 minutes | Cook Time: 10 minutes | Total Time: 20 minutes |
Cuisine: American | Tools: Grill | Course: Main |
Ingredients:
5-8 Chicken Tenderloins
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1 cup marinara sauce
Fresh Mozzarella Cheese
Instructions:
Preheat your grill and make sure the grates are freshly cleaned/scrubbed.
Place two pieces of plastic wrap over one chicken tenderloin at a time. Use a meat mallet to thin out the tenders slightly – about 1/4 inch thick. Remove the plastic wrap and lay the flattened chicken tenderloin on a baking sheet. Continue with the rest of the tenderloins.
Once they are all flattened to about 1/4 inch, combine your 1 t salt, 1/2 t pepper, and 1/2 t garlic powder. Sprinkle evenly on both sides of all the chicken breasts.
To grill, place your chicken tenderloins on the grill and cook for about 2 minutes. Flip and spread some marinara sauce on the newly cooked side of each tenderloin. Top with a piece or two of mozzarella. Cover the grill and cook for 2-3 more minutes or until chicken is cooked through.
