These tenders are perfect for your summer menu. You want to spice up your normal grill out? You want a lighter alternative to a family favorite? You want a meal everyone will like? This is the recipe to go with.

Grilled Chicken Parm Tenders

Prep Time: 10 minutes

Cook Time: 10 minutes

Total Time: 20 minutes

Cuisine: American

Tools: Grill

Course: Main

  • 5-8 Chicken Tenderloins

  • 1 teaspoon salt

  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper

  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

  • 1 cup marinara sauce

  • Fresh Mozzarella Cheese

  1. Preheat your grill and make sure the grates are freshly cleaned/scrubbed.

  2. Place two pieces of plastic wrap over one chicken tenderloin at a time. Use a meat mallet to thin out the tenders slightly – about 1/4 inch thick. Remove the plastic wrap and lay the flattened chicken tenderloin on a baking sheet. Continue with the rest of the tenderloins.

  3. Once they are all flattened to about 1/4 inch, combine your 1 t salt, 1/2 t pepper, and 1/2 t garlic powder. Sprinkle evenly on both sides of all the chicken breasts.

  4. To grill, place your chicken tenderloins on the grill and cook for about 2 minutes. Flip and spread some marinara sauce on the newly cooked side of each tenderloin. Top with a piece or two of mozzarella. Cover the grill and cook for 2-3 more minutes or until chicken is cooked through.
