I'm a not-so-recent college grad who is currently working as Director of New Media at my local radio station! This entails lots of picture taking, website editing, and graphic designing.
When I'm not working, I'm spending time with my always growing family. I just married my college sweetheart (is that a thing?), Tyler, in June 2022. Although our family doesn't consist of human babies, we have 3 beautiful fur babies! Kiki and Bella are cute little black cats, and Winnie is a fluffy Aussie/Great Pyrenees Mix.
I'm a proud God Mother to my sweet & adorable nephew! I also have a loving baby niece who Tyler gets to be a God Father of. We love spoiling them with presents and attention, not to mention we love being the fun aunt and uncle (without the parental responsibilities).
The kitchen is our everyday date. Tyler's become the head chef, but I'm still the baker of the family.
My heart has always been with sweets: cakes, cookies, brownies, tortes, pies, and everything else. I've been known to have ice cream for lunch a time or two. But that doesn't mean I don't love a warm home cooked meal every night.
Once September hits, I instantly get happy thinking about the warmth and comfort that comes out of my crockpot. Lighting a candle while watching a Halloween movie and knowing dinner's cooking itself is one of the best feelings of life.
I love searching through recipes, vintage, new, classics or unique. Every weekend I sit down with my collection of cookbooks and pick out dinners for the week ahead. Of course, writers block hits every once in a while and I tag in Tyler to help pick out his favorites (usually Spaghetti).
